Mixed reactions as 22 year old KNUST student wins NPP primaries

Ms. Oteng-Mensah got 321 votes to unseat Kofi Frempong who had 187 in the Kwabre East Constituency.

The victory of a 22 year old second year law student of the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, Francisca Oteng-Mensah, over Honourable Kofi Frempong in the New Patriotic Party’s (NPP) Parliamentary Primaries held last Saturday has been met with mixed reactions on various social media platforms.

Ms. Oteng-Mensah got 321 votes to unseat Kofi Frempong who had 187 in the Kwabre East Constituency.

While a section is applauding her for a fight well fought, others say it is too early for her to be a parliamentary candidate.
