Don't fall for "wasted vote" propaganda - PPP tells Ghanaian voters

"Do not settle for less, or fall for the "wasted vote" propaganda and end up voting for "the lesser of two evils."

The presidential nominee of the Progressive Peoples Party(PPP) Dr. Papa Kwesi Nduom has called on Ghanaian electorates to ignore the notion that they only waste their ballot when they vote the PPP to lead the country.

This was contained in a release, which was from Nduom 2016 secretariat. Dr. Nduom said most people in their quest to vote a "better" party than the NPP and NDC, see the PPP as the next available options. But these same electorates do not vote for the PPP when it is election period.

He said it was because most of the electorates have been told that a vote for PPP is a "wasted vote". A notion he asked them to discard.

He also mentioned that electorates must vote for him because the country currently needs a president with entrepreneurial skills to help create jobs.

"He recognizes that Nana Akufo-Addo and Ivor Greenstreet have talent as lawyers; that President John Mahama has talent as an communicator; and that Dr. Edward Mahama has talent as a medical doctor. Nonetheless, he believes that the talents he has practiced successfully as an economist and financial expert plus entrepreneur are the ones Ghana needs now.”

Dr. Nduom challenged other presidential nominees in the November polls "to make a personal commitment against corruption by making their tax returns and their asset declarations public".

Meanwhile the PPP will today (Thursday) hold a press conference to address what it describes as "some pertinent national issues".
