Also, 20 people sustained injuries and were rushed to the Suhum and Nsawam Government Hospitals while the bodies of the deceased have been deposited at the morgue.

Three persons have been killed in a fatal accident at Teacher-Mante on the Accra-Kumasi highway.

The accident involved an articulated truck and a passenger bus.
The accident comes five days after a similar one claimed 35 lives in Bono East region near the town of Kintampo.
Bono East Regional Minister Kofi Amoakohene said 27 of the victims were "burnt beyond recognition".

"Six of the survivors are in critical condition and are currently being monitored," he said, adding "one person escaped unharmed".
A month ago, two persons also died when the car they were travelling in got involved in an accident at Dominase near Komenda Junction in the Central Region.
