Ayiah was influential as Ghana’s U-17 side finished second in the Africa Under-17 tournament earlier this year, while he was also crucial in the Black Starlets’ quarter-final appearance at the World Cup in India two months ago.
Despite coming in for criticism following some close misses, Ayiah believes he can improve into a better player, saying he hopes to even captain the Black Stars in the near future.
“These criticisms motivates me a lot especially the bad ones. I just wantmyfanstoprayforme so I canprogresswithmycaptain’s band tothe U-20 andeventothe Black Stars,” he is quoted as saying in an interview with Starr Sports.
Ayiah has reportedly been a target of both local and European clubs, however, it remains to be seen where his next destination lies.
