Angel Asiamah, the husband of convicted evangelist Patricia Asiamah, widely known as Agradaa, has publicly declared his unwavering loyalty to his wife despite her imprisonment. Agradaa, the founder of Heavenway Champion International Ministry, was sentenced to 15 years with hard labour by an Accra Circuit Court on Thursday, 3 July 2025.
In her absence, Angel Asiamah has assumed leadership of the church, including leading Sunday preaching sessions.

In a video shared on social media platform X, Angel Asiamah revealed that many people have questioned whether he intends to remain celibate during his wife’s incarceration. He stated that he would not seek intimacy with any other woman while awaiting her release.

He said;
People keep asking me if I can stay chaste due to what has happened to my wife. But I ask them, ‘Why can’t I remain faithful?’ People have forgotten that I lived without sex until I was about 25 years old
He further stated,

So if I could abstain from sex during that time, then I can remain chaste now. Even if it will take 15 years, I can still stand

Meanwhile, relationship counsellor Rose Aboagyewaa Adjei has spoken out in support of Angel Asiamah’s decision to remain committed to his marriage. She dismissed suggestions that he should walk away from the relationship.
Adjei emphasised that marriage often involves both joy and hardship and noted that it is during such trying times that the strength of a union is tested.
