Evans Adotey has commended the Black Maidens for doing him proud after they reached the quarter finals of the 2018 FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup in Uruguay.

Ghana exited the competition following a 4-2 defeat on penalty shootout against Mexico, after a two all draw in regulation time.

Adotey who is satisfied with the performance of his team has indicated the good display of his ladies has attracted offers from several football agents across the world

“Wherever you pass, you see agents chasing Ghana,” he told TV3

“In fact they made me proud because after tournament, before departure, agents were all over chasing some of my girls and even talking to me.”

Meanwhile, the Maidens arrived in Ghana on Wednesday after their gallant display.

Mukarama Abdulai, the skipper of the team has expressed mixed feelings over her performance and that of her side.

“If I win I will be very happy because it is going to be part of Ghana’s record.”
