Alex Djornuboah Tetteh, the New Patriotic Party (NPP) Member of Parliament (MP) for Sehwi Akontombra, escaped death when his car got <a href="https://www.pulse.com.gh/news/local/sogakope-five-persons-feared-dead-many-others-injured-in-accident/3z2t89m">involved in a crash</a>.
The crash reports stated occurred on the Bibiani road when the MP was returning from an inaugural ceremony at Manukrom.
The Constituency Secretary, Addo Harry, confirming and narrating the incident said upon getting to Mines Junction an incoming Toyota Camry car made a forced turn.
Accident
The driver of the MP realised there were tricycles on the opposite lane and veering off would cause casualties and therefore plunged the car into the bush.
No casualties were recorded.
