Justin Timberlake Was Pelted With Urine at a Charity Concert in Front of 500,000 People

On the late night show, Timberlake told the story of performing at Molson Canadian Rocks for Toronto, a Canadian charity event to help revive the country's economy after the devastating 2003 SARS epidemic. Mick Jagger casually called up JT and asked him to play at the event, which was organized by The Rolling Stones. And you dont say no to Mick Jagger.

Timberlake agreed to the show and and rolled up to Toronto to do some good for charity.

I looked at the bill and its The Rolling Stones and AC/DC and The Guess Whoyou get the pictureand like somewhere in there: Me," he says. "I just remember saying to the band before going on stage, I dont think this is going to go well'.

Call it a premonition. Timberlake was booed by the crowd throughout his first song, with the sea of people throwing muffins, toilet paper, andwait for itbottles of urine at the star. Timberlake recalled dodging the plastic bottles of pee while singing, refusing to give in to the haters.

I was kind of impressed with myself, Timberlake recalled with a laugh.

After his second song, Timberlake says one of two things happened: either the crowd gave up trying to heckle him off stage or they ran out of urine.

After reliving the pee-based horror, Timberlake had an After School Special-like message for the youth of today.

Kids, Timberlake said with a smile, be tenacious.
