Accra Hearts of Oak goalkeeper and captain Benjamin Asare faced an emotional encounter with some concerned supporters following the club’s 2-2 draw with Bibiani Gold Stars at the Accra Sports Stadium on matchday seven of the Ghana Premier League.

The Phobians extended their unbeaten home run with the result, but frustration lingered among fans who expected a win after the team let their lead slip late in the game.

Asare, who had impressively gone five consecutive league matches without conceding before this fixture, was approached by supporters as he was leaving the stadium in his car.

We support you, and you have also done your best for us. The defenders have to help you. If you look at the goals we conceded, as the captain, you should talk to the players. If you help Hearts, Hearts will help you. You know we love you; we don't want any problems, or else your record will be tainted

In a calm and composed response, Asare acknowledged the concerns and assured the supporters that the team is determined to bounce back stronger.
