Emmanuel Agyemang Badu still willing to play for the national team

Agyemang-Badu not worried he has not been called into the Ghana Black Stars squad since Kwesi Appiah was re-appointed.

Bursaspor Midfielder Emmanuel Agyemang-Badu has expressed the view that he is ever ready to play for the Ghana Black Stars.

The former Ghana u-20 star has not been perturbed by being snubbed in the recent call-ups by Coach James Kwesi Appiah since he took over the team in May 2017.

Emmanuel Agyemang-Badu in speaking to the media did say he is ever willing to play for the national team whenever he receives a call-up.

“I am a Ghanaian anytime I am ready to help the nation with a call-up. In a national team everybody deserves to be there and it mostly depends on the choices of the coaches. When I am called up, I will just come and help my nation if not I will just concentrate on my club level.”

Emmanuel Agyemang-Badu did say he is always hopeful that Ghana competes and improves in every endeavor

“We all have to monitor and pray for the national team whenever they play. We love the national team and it has been a privilege to be a part of it for 8 to 9 years.
