Whitney Houston's mother, Cissy Houston has revealed her granddaughter, Bobbi Kristina remains in a medically induced coma despite spending more than a month in hospital.

In a radio interview with WBLS' 'Midday's With Shaila' on Wednesday morning, March 25, Cissy said the Houston family continues to pray for Kristina Brown who was found unresponsive in a bathtub on January 31.

"She’s the same," the 81-year-old gospel singer told host Shaila, confirming that Kristina remains in a medically coma... Adding that the family does not have a great deal of hope:

"I give it to God one time, because I know he’s able and I cannot change a thing. So, I’m asking everybody to just pray to the Lord who we know can do something."

While the family is hoping for the best, Houston confirmed they are preparing for the worst.

"If he works a miracle, thank God," Houston says. "If it happens the other way, I’m alright."

The daughter of Whitney and Bobby Brown has been on a ventilator since shortly after arriving at North Fulton Hospital in Roswell, Ga. She was later transferred to Emory University Hospital in Atlanta.
