The undefeated American, beat Manny Pacquiao in the Fight of the Century on May 2 and Forbes claimed he picked up a $100m cheque on the night without factoring in his cut from pay-per-view money.
Added to his earnings from his bout with Marcos Maidana in September 2014, Mayweather earned an incredible $285m in the ring, which was supplemented by a further $15m in endorsements.
Manny Pacquiao, who came second on the list, earns only $160m, just more than half that of Mayweather.
