Gh One TV hit with another exit blow as Anita Akuffo quits EIB to join TV3

According to new confirmed information, Anita Akua Akuffo who worked as a news anchor and reporter at the Excellence in Broadcasting (EIB) Network’s Gh One TV has now joined the TV3 family.

Ann, as called by many, has also hosted several events including the prestigious Miss Malaika Ghana Beauty pageantry show for three years, Golden Movie Awards, Mr Model Ghana, Miss International Ghana among others and is expected to bring her quality to her new career home.

In the coming days, the Bachelor of Arts in Communication Studies graduate of the Ghana Institute of Journalism will be introduced as the host of a yet to be launched talkshow to air on TV3, the number one television station in Ghana in 2019 as per the GeoPoll ranking. She becomes the 3rd TV personality who moved from EIB to TV3 after Berla Mundi and Giovanni Caleb.

Before this move, Anita has been off screen for months and she revealed in her new year message on social media that she has had a personal challenge which was life threatening but with God she over came it.

The former Miss Malaika contestant and host of Fashion Gh on GhOne television, has expressed her willingness to contribute her quota to keep Media General as the leading Ghanaian media company. “New year...New familySuper excited” she wrote on Instagram, see her post below.
