Ghanaian rapper Kwaw Kese believes Ghanaians have not celebrated him enough despite his exploits in the music industry.

The “Dondo” hit maker was speaking on the E With Becks show on Joy prime, hosted by Becky.
“I don’t feel celebrated. It’s the norm in Ghana. Ghanaians don’t celebrate Ghanaians doing well, they don’t celebrate their stars, and they don’t celebrate their celebrities,” Kwaw Kese lamented.
“But I’m celebrating myself every now and then and that is what is important,” he added.
The Hiplife artiste also touched on the struggles he went through during his childhood before making a breakthrough.
He disclosed that he started fending for himself when he was in class three, adding that he sometimes even had to sell on the streets.
“I started hustling for myself when I was in class three. That time I had to go to the station and sell to cater for myself and even family,” he revealed.
