The 57-year-old actress took to Twitter on September 20 saying she didn't mean to hurt anyone in her mission to 'advocate' for women with or without color. She also went on to praise the 'How To Get Away With Murder' star and her prolific talent.

Her apologies continued:

Nancy went on to state the fact that she is not a racist for speaking up on what she thinks is right... even though she hasn't taken down the tweet in which she claims Davis has never faced discrimination and would have allowed Shonda Rhimes to write her acceptance speech.

However, fans have continued to slam Nancy Lee for not being properly informed about 'Black History' before her hate tweets to Davis.
