Ahead of his 31st birthday celebrations on September 15, Prince Harry is reported to be going back to his old fling, attorney Chelsy Davy.

According to Britain's The Sun newspaper, both parties met again while he was away on a three-month tour in Africa promoting conservation causes.

People magazine says the palace will not comment or confirm if they met but if Harry is indeed keen, Davy, 29, may well take some convincing. It's believed she was wary of the limelight that comes with royal life.

A source close to Harry previously told People mag, "She's her own woman. She's very sporty and feisty. But she doesn’t like being mucked around."

Harry once said he was happy not having a girlfriend after breaking off his high-profile romance with actress Cressida Bonas earlier this year. But assured reporters he is open to a serious relationship.

"It would be great to have someone else next to me to share the pressure. But, you know, time will come and whatever happens, happens,"he said in New Zealand in May.

Davy, an attorney, reportedly split from her last boyfriend earlier this year and has departed her job at a London law firm.
