A 65-year old country music singer, Randy Howard has been killed in a gunfight with a bounty hunter trying to detain him.
Multiple reports revealed that Howard died after a Tuesday night, June 9, 2015 shooting of Howard in Lynchburg.

Authorities say the bounty hunter showed up at Howard’s home to take him into custody for missing a court appearance and Howard allegedly opened fire leaving the bounty hunter no option than to shoot back and Howard was killed in the process.
A spokesman for Tennesse Bureau, Josh DeVine said the bounty hunter was trying to detain Howard on a warrant charging him with fourth-offense DUI, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of a firearm while intoxicated and driving on a revoked license.

Further investigation on the late singer revealed that the late Howard has performed with country music stars Willie Nelson and Waylon Jennings.
