VIDEO: Gov’t has failed on educating citizens about “Year of Return” - Shatta Wale

Shatta Wale has faulted the government’s “Year of Return” initiative.

According to the dancehall act, a lot of citizens are clueless about the initiative means and he blames the government for not doing enough to educate citizens on the rationale behind the campaign.

We failed to educate the country about this year of return. I don’t see anything going on about this year of return. I feel the government has failed to educate the people” he said.

Shatta Wale says he is clueless about the initiative and all he knows is that people are coming to Ghana and what he notices is that, when the people come, they only visit the President and the Cape Coast

During an interview with UTV, Shatta Wale says the idea hasn’t been explained enough for Ghanaians to understand it so as it can also enable some entrepreneurs to capitalize on the opportunity do business.
