VIDEO: Sarkodie finally explains why he dissed Shatta Wale in “My Advice”

Rapper Sarkodie has finally opened up about his recent beef with dancehall musician Shatta Wale.

Shatta Wale and Sarkodie

The BET Award-winning rapper, in October this year, took on the self-acclaimed ‘King of Ghana dancehall’ in a song titled “My Advice”.

In the song, Sarkodie took time to address all the disses he has received from Shatta Wale and described him as a fool, braggart and insensitive.

The song created a lot of buzz in the showbiz circle, with the majority of music fans describing the diss song as a 'beef winner'.

Since dissing him, Sarkodie has stayed quiet. But this time, he has opened up about why he had to diss his own friend, Shatta Wale.

According to him, Shatta Wale made a lot of distasteful remarks about him on social media instead of calling him to address the issue off of the social network platform.

He told KOD on Starr FM on Tuesday, December 18 that: “If he is a friend that you keep in touch with all the time and he keeps passing comments on social media all in the name of showbiz, how would you feel?”

I get it. It’s showbiz but we have a friendship to keep. As much as I would want to do showbiz, there are some things that I would like to call you personally and resolve,” he added.
