The new mom of twins won five including the "Album of the year" with "Lemonade)" and "Best R&B/pop female Artiste". Bruno Mars, coming in with five nominations, took home his first two BET Awards for "Best male R&B/pop Artiste" and "Best video" (for “24K Magic” tied with Beyoncé’s “Sorry”).
Also joining Mars and Beyoncé in the winner’s circle were Kendrick Lamar (best male hip-hop artist). The biggest surprise on the night was Remy Ma. Remy picked up the "Best Female Hip-hop Artiste" -- ending Nicki Minaj's seven-year win streak.
Ghana's Stonebwoy also lost to Nigeria's Wizkid in the "Best international Act: Africa" category.
