I wonder if in 20 years’ time we will have any classical music like the Lumba classics - Efia Odo

In what may seem like a swipe to the current crop of Ghanaian musicians, Efia Odo is in doubt if any of the new school musicians are making quality songs that will last for 2 decades.

The actress is, therefore, wondering if any of the songs around at the moment can stand the test of time and become a classical music like how Daddy Lumber and Amakye Dede’s timeless songs are considered now.

For instance, Daddy Lumber’s “Aben Wa Ha” is about 20-years-old but it still finds its way to the present day airwaves or playlists, so, in simple terms, Efia Odo is asking if there are any songs of today that could live that long and still be quality and meaningful to the next generation.

The award winning actress expressed her opinion via tweet. Read it below and tell us what you think.
