Speaking on the Business Of Entertainment Show, Shatta Wale said he believes it is better to make money from his music talent than any other incentive.
"I'm religious but when it comes to the business side, God knows that when I have to say some hard word in music, I will say it."
"My society has not gotten that business path that we are on but getting to know me much better will make them understand," he added.
He was quick to admit that the music industry is lucrative and added that he has made a lot of money through his music career.
He also said that due to some challenges the world is unable to see and enjoy the full potential of Ghanaian musicians.
"In the industry we find ourselves, we don't get certain facilities to explore, so we don't get the outside world to know how good we are."
He explained that to make money, his fellow musicians must have a strategy that focuses on the business side of their career.
Shatta Wale has used his brand since 2013 to create wealth by designing and selling shirts, shorts, socks, and other apparels in his name.
