VIDEO: Patapaa performed to 16 people in Norway, not 3 – tour manager clears the air

Patapaa’s recent tour in Europe has caused a stir online after videos surfaced of him performing to some three people. Reacting to this, the musician’s tour manager has now come out to clear the air about the exact number of people Patapaa performed to.

According to one Nana Amoako, who says Patapaa travelled to Europe under a contract with his company, which was responsible for artiste's shows in Europe, the “one corner” man actually performed to 16 people at his Norway concert.

Narrating it all to Andy Dosty on Hitz FM, Nana Amoako, who has now fallen out with Patapaa due to some financial issues, has said that when he reached the venue, he counted 16 people and immediately got worried if the organizers will pay them or not.

Upon entering the event hall I saw sixteen people, I counted, I have everything on my phone, I took footages of everything, the people who were there. So when I entered and saw sixteen people, including the promoter, making up to 17, I was like wow, this guy is not going to pay us” Nana Amoako said.

However, Free Body, who is the manager of Patapaa, could not confirm the numbers. Via a phone call into the show monitored by pulse.com.gh, he said he was busy ensuring everything is going well for his artiste, therefore, he didn’t pay attention to the numbers.

Free Body and Nana Amoako further had some back and forth on the live radio session over claims made by Patapaa that the tour manager (Nana Amoako) did not pay him all the money he expected from the tour.
