Vice President Dr Mahamudu Bawumia has survived another accident after his convoy was crossed by a taxicab.

The accident reportedly happened on the Yendi-Tamale road in the Northern Region.

One of the vehicles in the convoy was crashed.

And according to reports, the taxi driver and a passenger in the taxi are in a critical condition.

The Vice President was in Yendi on Friday to participate in the funeral of Yaa Naa Mahamadu Abdulai and was on his way back to Tamale.

It will be recalled that in 2013, his vehicle was involved in an accident on the Bole Bamboi-Techiman road.

Dr. Bawumia and the other occupants in the vehicle had escaped unhurt.

He was the then running mate to then candidate Nana Akufo-Addo.
