Police summon Captain Smart and Oheneba for questioning over John Kumah’s death

Pulse Ghana has learned from sources within the Ghana Police Service that journalist Captain Smart has been summoned for questioning regarding comments he made about the late former deputy finance minister, John Kumah.

During a meeting with the Greater Accra Region Police Command, Captain Smart expressed his opinion that his remarks on the death of the former Ejisu MP have been corroborated by New Patriotic Party (NPP) member Oheneba.

Captain Smart asserted that Oheneba should also face police scrutiny as he allegedly affirmed Captain Smart's comments in a viral video circulating on social media.

Following Captain Smart's statements, the police have extended an invitation to Oheneba to aid in their investigation into the matter.

The police's decision to summon Captain Smart comes after a complaint was filed by the widow of the late legislator, Lilian Kumah.
