“We will be glad if surveillance and security cameras are provided in our church premises to help enhance our security and also help to detect criminals who invade the church premises,” Reverend Akumbe told Accra-based Adom FM.

He added that “I stopped everything I was doing and went there” after receiving a call from the Superintendent General of the Assemblies of God Church, Reverend Frimpong Manso who informed him about the incident.

Meanwhile, the suspected murderer identified as Francis Nabegmado is in police custody assisting investigation.

He is alleged to have committed the murder following a disagreement between him and the deceased regarding a deity.

According to reports, the suspect who had been living in the mission house brought some gods to the house to worship and his uncle objected to the decision.
