The biggest opposition party contends that the Committee, which will be headed by the former Commission for Human Rights and Administrative Justice (CHRAJ) boss Emile Short, isn't credible.

Speaking to Citi News, the Deputy General Secretary of the NDC in charge of Operations, Peter Boamah Otukunor said the opposition party “will not be part of any charade.”

“We will not be part of any attempt to cover up the heinous crimes and barbaric attacks at last Thursday’s by-election,” he said.

The Commission, which comprises of Prof. Henrietta Bonsu and Patrick K. Acheampong, began its work from today.
