Officials said the vehicle belongs to the state but Bobie Ansah insisted that the vehicle was his personal property and further produced documents of the vehicle.

Earlier, Bobie Ansah threatened to name five ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) stalwarts who have in their possession some of the vehicles purported to be missing from the Presidency.

According to him, the NPP is throwing dust in the eyes of the public by crying foul over the missing cars just to score cheap political points.

Mr Ansah alleged that some of the missing vehicles are in possession of one of the vigilante groups of the party Invincible Forces which have been seizing cars from appointees of erstwhile Mahama’s administration.

"By the end of this week we Media for Justice and Accountability will mention names of NPP gurus who have some of the stolen cars in their possession. We will give the public evidence of our claims," he threatened.
