Hajia Fati threatens to sue Kwabena Agyepong

Hajia Fati was at the Police Headquarters for interrogation and was alleged to have pelted stones at the vehicle of Mr Agyepong.

Hajia Fati, a member of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) has threatened to sue General Secretary, Kwabena Agyepong for accusing her of attacking his vehice.

This was after she was granted bail at the police headquarters on Wednesday, October 28, 2015.

Speaking on Accra-based Citi FM, Hajia Fati said "I don't think I will leave the case like that. I would have to consult my lawyers."

She was arrested for attacking the vehicle of the party's General Secretary, Kwabena Agyepong which led to the windscreen of his black V8 Land cruiser been smashed.

Mr. Agyepong had gone to the headquarters of the party to remind other national executives that a planned Steering committee meeting scheduled for yesterday could not come off because of an impending court injunction.

According to reports, Mr Agyepong told other executives who had gathered for the steering committee meeting he could not be part of the said meeting as it meant breaching the courts orders and could be charged for contempt.

As he was about leaving Hajia Fati pelted stones at his vehicle smashing the back windscreen.

The leadership of the NPP has, however, condemned the action and promised to replace the windscreen of the vehicle.
