Former president John Mahama

Mahama who wants to lead the National Democratic Congress (NDC) again in the 2020 elections, is on a 5-day tour in the Eastern Region where he expressed surprise at the NPP administration.

He said it was unbelievable that after lambasting the NDC government and promising to deliver heaven to Ghanaians, he [Nana Addo] has failed to deliver.

He added that the NPP and Nana Addo engaged in propaganda prior to the 2016 elections.

He said Ghanaians voted for NPP and Nana Addo during 2016 elections based on the party's deceit and lies coupled with its lofty promises.

Mahama stated: "I strongly believe that God pushed Ghanaians to vote for NPP and Akufo-Addo just to expose their lies and propaganda. They lied their way to power. They convinced Ghanaians with juicy promises."

"Ghanaians are now crying for NDC to take them to the promise land. Where are their promises such as Ghanaians 1 district 1 factory, 1 village 1 dam, 1 district 1 warehouse?" he asked.
