NDC vets Ayawaso West Wuogon aspirants today

The main opposition party, the National Democratic Congress (NDC), will, today, vet aspirants contesting for the vacant Ayawaso West Wuogon parliamentary seat.

NDC General Secretary, Johnson Asiedu Nketia

The vetting will make way for the party primary which has been scheduled for Friday, December 28.

Mr Ekow Acquah, Mr Delali Kwasi Brempong and Ms Donna Selassie Agbo are the three persons that will be contesting.

Interestingly, popular actor John Dumelo has stepped out of the race after picking a nomination form last week.

Though he cited personal reasons, political commentators believe he bowed out because it has been established that he is not registered voter in the constituency.
