He said the eight aspirants that are fighting the National Executives Council (NEC) of the NDC that they can't pay are all liars.
Speaking on Adom TV's "Badwam" show, he said: "All of them are liars, Kojo Bonsu, Bagbin, Sylvestre Mensah are allsayin they can’t pay? They should pay, it should show that they can pay be President".

Eight presidential hopefuls of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) have formed a rare alliance to demand the reduction of filing fees from GHC420,000 to GHC100,000.
Alban Bagbin, Ekwow Spio-Garbrah, Sylvester Mensah, Stephen Atubiga, Nurudeen Iddrisu, Goosie Tanoh, Kojo Bonsu and Elikplim Agbemava want the nomination fees, or fees for collection of forms, to be pegged at GH¢ 5,000 and filing fees reduced to GH¢100,000.
