Alhaji Raji apologises to Brong Ahafo over disparaging remarks

The GHALCA chairman has apologised to the people of Brong Ahafo over an alleged remarks he made against the people of the region.

Alhaji Ali Raji has finally rendered an unqualified apology to Aduana Stars and the people of Brong Ahafo for referring to the region as a village, hence doesn't deserve a trophy.

The GHALCA boss was accused of saying that a village like Brong Ahafo doesn’t deserve to win the G6 tournament when Aduana Stars were about engaging Aduana Stars in the final group B game.

Aduana Stars although won that game, they lost the final game to Kotoko amidst, issues of bias officiating against the Brong Ahafo side.

Alhaji Ali Raji earlier denied having passed those comments, but has now eaten back a humble pie by apologizing to the Aduanahene and the people of Dormaa.

“No one would hear you have insulted him and the person would be happy. I apologise to Nana Dormaahene for what he heard and also apologise to the people of Brong Ahafo.

“I was once a director of Berlin FC, so I am associated with the people of Brong Ahafo,” he told Asempa FM.

Some of the B.A clubs in solidarity to Aduana Stars have threatened to withdraw their membership from GHALCA, due to the lose talk of Alhaji Ali Raji
