CK Akonnor said this when he met the press to announce the Black Stars squad for the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) double header against Sudan on 27th March 2020.
“… for Prince Boateng we spoke, I don’t think he wants to play for the Black Stars again” he said in a response to a question asked earlier.
Kevin-Prince Boateng and Sulley Muntari were sacked from the camp of the Black Stars during the 2014 FIFA World Cup in Brazil for indiscipline.
He is yet to apologise for his action and he has since not been handed a national team call-up.
