The Ghanaian striker has joined Nantes on a season long loan move
Waris has been handed the iconic number 10 jersey of Nantes.
The 26-year-old striker was declared surplus to requirement by the new FC Porto coach after he failed to impress him during pre-season.
He has returned to the French Ligue 1 where he excelled while playing for FC Lorient two seasons ago.

Majeed Waris will be looking forward to having a good season with Nantes after he struggled last season with the Portuguese giants FC Porto.
Waris represented the Black Stars of Ghana in the 2014 FIFA World Cup held in Brazil.
