Yaw Ansah

The Medeama goalie made some crucial saves to ensure his side walked away from the Obuasi Len Clay Sports Stadium with at least a point. It wasn’t surprising that he was adjudged the man of the match when Medeama held AshGold to a 1-1 draw.

Caleb Amankwah

The WAFA right full back put up another splendid performance and he even had a hand in the Academy boys first goal from Komlan Agbegniadan.

Amankwah was swift in joining attack and his incisive crosses into the 18-yard box of Liberty Professionals was a big worry for the Scientific Soccer lads.

Justice Anane

He excelled in the left full back position for Berekum Chelsea. Justice Anane made several interceptions and was quick to join attack whenever his side were in possession of the ball as they piped league champions Wa All Stars by a goal to nil.

Awal Mohammed

The former Black Stars defender is getting back to his usual best, having been putting up good displays at the centre-back position for Kotoko, since he started getting play time. Awal Mohammed neutralised the Aduana Stars attack by giving them close marking and clearing his lines effectively. He was applauded by the Asante Kotoko fans for his outstanding performance despite their side’s 1-1 draw against Aduana Stars.

Malik Antri

The Tema Youth centre-back added goal scoring to his usual defensive duties. He got the match opener in their 2-1 win over Gt. Olympics and he marked Bernardinho and Abel Manomey, the two marksmen for the ‘Dade boy’ very well during the game.

Isaac Twum

The Inter Allies skipper marshalled the midfield when they held Elmina Sharks to goalless. Isaac Twum won most of the 50-50 balls in midfield and his ball distributions were awesome. He won the man of the match of the game.

Hanan Wahab

The Tema Youth defensive midfielder picked most of the loose balls. He was a hard-tackling and linked the defence to the attack perfectly by giving through balls to the strikers. Hanan Wahab was named the man of the match in Tema Youth’s 2-1 win against Gt. Olympics.

Zakaria Mumuni

The skilful left winger gave the Asante Kotoko torrid time, as Aduana Stars managed a 1-1 draw in Kumasi on Wednesday. He was very difficult to be dispossessed during the game. Zakaria had a hand in Aduana Stars goal against the Porcupine Warriors.

Winful Cobbinah

He is establishing himself as the Hearts of Oak livewire in recent games, emerging as the king of assists. Cobbinah has supplied two of the three goals Hearts of Oak managed to score in their 3-3 against Bolga All Stars.

Komlan Agbegniadan

The Togo international was the showman at the Sogakope Park when WAFA defeated Liberty Professionals 2-1 to stretch their winning run to seven.  Agbegniadan scored both goals for the Academy boys and he utilised his footwork very well.

Alhassan Abdul Rahim

The Bolga Stars attacker came on in the latter part of the first half at a time when his side were trailing Hearts of Oak by a goal to nil to score two goals to turn the scales in favour of the debutants. His brace in a 3-3 draw against Hearts of Oak and his total contribution to team play won him the man of the match award.
