Ghanaian club launches maiden football clinic for schools in Accra

Ghana Premier League club Hearts of Oak want to reach out to young fans like it is done in Europe

The Phobians on Wednesday toured two schools, New Town 6 & 8 primary schools as their aim is to unearth young supporters of the club.

Hearts of Oak team was led by head coach of the side Kenichi Yatsuhahsi, chief scout Joe Addo, general captain Thomas Abbey, deputy captain Owusu Bempah and Mustapha Essuman.

“It was a good initiative, Hearts of Oak is a big club and we want to reach out to the young followers as it is done in Europe.

“I’m very happy for that, those young followers as to know what is going on in the club, we want to catch them young and that is what we are doing,” Abbey told Pulse.com.gh.

The Phobians after five games are leading the log sheet with 13 points.
