Five people are feared dead when an accident involving a Sprinter bus with registration number GR 6117-20 crashed on the <a href="https://www.pulse.com.gh/news/local/11-feared-dead-in-buipe-tamale-road-accident/rhkt7m1">Accra-Tema motorway</a>

According to reports, the accident occurred at about 6:30 am Thursday, May 6, 2021, after the tyre of the bus burst around the weighing bridge on the motorway.

According to an eyewitness, the car somersaulted in the process.
The driver of the vehicle, reports stated was overspeeding and failed to heed the warnings of his passengers to slow down.
Meanwhile, 15 others have sustained various degrees of injuries and transported to the Tema General Hospital for treatment.
