Young Ghanaian visual artist, Julian Selby, known for his artworks as <a href="https://www.pulse.com.gh/news/local/ghanaian-pencil-artist-artwork-by-pimpin-draws-bawumia-to-mark-his-57th-birthday/x6359t5">Artwork by Pimpin</a> and known for his unique style of putting pencil to paper has earned a nomination in this year's Ghana Youth Awards as the 'Youth Entrepreneur' of the year 2021.

The artist who is artistically known as Pimpin has a peculiar way of making arts appealing unlike the conventional approach to drawing.

Artwork by Pimpin dramatise his drawing process, displaying gymnastics, dancing, jumping, and other skills to transform his subject onto paper.

His pencil has been adjudged as one of the finest in the country when he was awarded as the Ghanaian Visual Artist of the year in the 2019 edition of the Ghana Arts and Culture Awards (GACA).

Pimpin's artworks are large-scale carbon and graphite pencil drawings.
