Mahama consoles victims of gas explosion

John Mahama has called on Ghanaians to continue to pray for the injured.

Former President John Mahama has expressed his condolences to the families of the victims of Saturday evening’s gas explosion incident at Atomic junction at Madina in Accra.

John Mahama on his Facebook page called on Ghanaians to continue to pray for the injured.

He said "My Thoughts and Prayers are with the victims and families of those affected by last night’s gas explosion at the Atomic Junction near Madina.

"I feel for for their pain. In our own small way , let’s all extend a helping hand to all those affected by the sad incident."

The gas station explosion has killed at least 7 persons and injured 132 people.

132 injured persons, 64 of them have been treated and discharged.

An investigation has been commenced into the cause of the explosion.
