COVID-19: Ghana’s death toll hits 259; active cases now 1875

Ghana’s coronavirus deaths have jumped from 247 to 259 after the nation recorded 8 new deaths.

According to the latest figures from the Ghana Health Service (GHS), the new deaths include a 3-month old baby in the Volta Region.

Meanwhile, some 101 new cases have been confirmed, bringing the total number of cases to 43,094.

The number of active cases has however reduced from 1949 to 1875.
