Her statement comes following hours of power cut which happened in Ghana on Monday, March 16.

She took to Twitter to prompt the president about the issue and further asked him to ‘see to it’ that the issue is resolved.

“Mr president @NAkufoAddo pls we need our lights! Kindly see to it! DUMSOR IS BACK!!!!”

Her tweet drew mixed reaction from her Twitter followers.

A user reminded her of the demonstrated she led six years ago and questioned the impact it made.

Another user tried to punch a hole in a strategy he thinks the Electricity Company of Ghana is implementing.

He tweeted: “Dear ECG, If your idea is to take out the electricity supply every evening to cause people to stay home then you calculate wrong...taking the electricity in the evenings only pushes people to gather in public spaces where generators are providing the needed electricity.”
