Essien and Gyan are illiterates who don’t know who is a celebrity - Afia Schwarzenegger (Watch)

The two Blackstars players during a conversation they had live on Instagram, mocked Ghanaian celebrities amidst the Cardi B “meet and greet” hullabaloo. Essien and Gyan unanimously agreed that it’s cheap to be a Ghanaian celebrity.

The players added that anybody can do or say anything stupid on social media and turn a celebrity overnight. Reacting to their comments, Afia Schwarzenegger has described Gyan and Essien as illiterates who do not understand what a “celebrity” means.

The social media commentator explained that people should not use Beyonce standards to measure whom a celebrity should be because per the dictionary's explanation, even a small church can have its celebrities within the church.
