Fire guts Kumasi central market

Fire has gutted some parts of the Kumasi Central Market in the Ashanti Region.

The fire, which started Friday night, affected a number of container shops at the Dr Mensah enclave of the market.

Five fire tenders were at the scene, which is close to a fuel station, to douse the ravaging fire.

The cause of the fire incident is yet to be established.
