Darryl Paa Kwesi Bannerman-Martin, known under the stage name Joey B is widely recognised for as the mastermind behind the ‘tonga’. It was the most played song for the 2013/2014 music year.

According to Joey B, he wished generations will remember him for any of his tracks apart from “tonga”.

In a post shared on Facebook, the ‘U x me’ hitmaker wrote “i really wished my biggest song was cigarette, not tonga (never liked tonga anyway lol) Cigarette's vibe is sooo nice”.

The award winning track "Tonga” was shot in London by creative director Vertex.

The video release was further delayed when files from the London shoot was lost by the production team, which forced a re-shoot a few weeks back.
