Ghanaians are too religious but lack attitude to develop – Dag Heward-Mills
According to him, most Ghanaians exhibit too much religiosity but fail to back it with the right attitude towards national development.
The renowned evangelist was speaking to his congregation as part of his sermon during the 2019 Easter celebrations.
“The country is too religious but does not have the right attitude,” he is quoted as saying by Ghanacrusader.com.
Dag Heward-Mills said most Christians who claim to be born again fail to prove it by their actions.
In his view, a truly religious country should achieve significant development since its people are upright in their doings.
“Most people who claim to be born again are only doing that under the guise of religion, but the truth is, they are not really born again that is why there is no much significant development,” the preacher added.
Dag Heward-Mills was recently in the news after he suggested depression and sadness are caused by spiritual, rather than physical factors.
He was subsequently criticised by a section of the public, who believed his comment had no biblical backing.
