Ghanaians react angrily to new 100 and 200 cedis notes

Ghanaians on social media are not taking it lightly with the news that the Bank of Ghana has introduced new currency denominations.

This was announced by the Governor of the Central Bank, Dr. Ernest Addison at a press conference in Accra on Friday.

Dr. Addison said there will be 2 cedis coin, 100 cedis and 200 cedis.

We gauged the reactions of Ghanaians on Twitter and these are some of the responses.
