Former Deputy Minister for Youths and Sports and Member of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) Joseph Yamin has taken swipe at the Founder and head pastor of the Glorious Word Ministry International, <a id="976f67eb-8b4e-4ffc-925f-523945cb205e" href="https://www.pulse.com.gh/news/local/fraudster-owusu-bempah-must-stop-his-nonsense-prophecies-ndc-man/g17g7ed">Rev. Isaac Owusu Bempah </a>over his latest death prophesies.

He said prophecies by Owusu Bempah are not from God.

According to him, nowadays pastors and prophets prophecised just to be popular adding that Owusu Bempah must be caned for causing fear and panic.

Speaking at the watch night service of the final day of the year 2018, Owusu Bempah predicted the death of former President John Agyekum Kufuor and his wife, John Mahama.

He stated that if Ghanaians don't endeavor to pray, Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia might lose his life in 2019, Chief Imam Sheikh Usmanu Nuhu Sharubutu.

He claims it's not confirmed but strong prayers will be able to avert the prophecy.

However, Joseph Yamin speaking on Kumasi-based Abusua FM said fake prophet who wants popularity are taking advantage of the ordinary Ghanaians.

"It's time Ghanaians stop following fake prophets and pastors like Owusu Bempah. They always want to give prophecies which are not from God. They are doing that just to be popular. Fake prophet Owusu Bempah must be caned for causing fear and panic," he said.
