Ghana and Bologna midfielder Godfred Donsah is the subject of a transfer bid from fellow Serie A side Torino.

The 21-year-old has established himself as a key member of Torino since joining the club from Cagliari for €2.16 million in the summer of 2015.

The Ghana midfielder is believed to have been identified as a perfect replacement for compatriot Afriyie Acquah.

Acquah is reportedly a target of Premiership outfit Stoke City, with the midfielder once confirming that a move to the English topflight “is possible”.

Skysports Italia reports that both Bologna and Torino are currently in talks which would see Donsah move to the latter club.

Negotiation between both clubs was confirmed by Donsah’s agent, Oliver Arthur, who revealed that he had been contacted, adding that his client “might be going to Torino”.

Bologna is reportedly asking for €8m for the Ghana defender, however, Torino have offered just €5m, leading to protracted discussions.

An agreement, though, is expected to be reached soon to allow Donsah join Torino.
