The honour was bestowed on 31 March 2026 shortly after his arrival at Kotoka International Airport, where he was welcomed by traditional authorities and dignitaries.

Footage shared on social media shows the musician dressed in traditional Ga regalia, visibly delighted as he was formally introduced and given the stool name “Nii Oyeni Mp3s3 I”, marking his induction into the Ga traditional leadership structure.

The recognition was conferred by the Ga Traditional Council in acknowledgement of his role in promoting cultural exchange and strengthening ties between Ghana and the diaspora.
